The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
Siri Buskes is a digital marketer, web designer and branding expert with over 10 years’ experience in the field and hundreds of happy clients under her belt. Joining forces with her similarly-talented husband Harlan, they founded Siri The Agency to help small businesses and entrepreneurs break through the noise and find their online voice. Siri The Agency has grown to a 6-figure business built based on being accessible, approachable and affordable.
Siri is delighted to be named as a finalist and is proud of her achievements, particularly that since the start of the pandemic she’s helped over 100 small businesses across the world boost their brand signal through strategic and impactful design. All while juggling mum life and working from home through five tough lockdowns.
There are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood as Siri explains, “I can work from home with many other mumpreneurs. I feel like there is this whole secret society I never knew about! All these hard-working mummas up at crazy hours ticking off things on our to-do lists. But we all get a lot of self-worth and independency back for this!”
It can be challenging to be a successful business woman whilst raising a family and Siri gives this advice for others thinking about starting their own enterprise “Don’t get stuck in Limbo Land! Teak the leap and launch your business, but with a solid plan. I often see small businesses/side hustles fail because there is no strategy, niche or marketing plan in place.”
